GMO Cookies, also known as GMO Garlic Cookies, is a hybrid strain that has prominent diesel, earthy and pungent flavors. Depending on the dispensary where you buy this strain, GMO Cookies also has tastebud-catching notes of garlic and cloves, especially when smoking it. Consumers have the terpene profile of Limonene and Caryophyllene to thank for this remarkable flavor.

Contrary to what some consumers may think, the GMO in GMO Cookies does not mean that you are ingesting a genetically modified organism. In fact, every one of today’s strains has been crossbred to some degree, meaning all cannabis has technically been genetically modified to some degree. The breeders originally called the strain just GMO, but dispensary owners asked for the name change.

At 26% THC content, the GMO Cookies strain packs quite a punch. This indica-dominant cultivar is the outcome of cross-breeding Chemdawg with GSC. If you love this strain, you can pay homage to the breeders at Mamiko Seeds for creating it. At the 2021 San Diego Cannabis Farmers Cup, GMO Cookies won the People’s Choice Award for Best Flower.

Some consumers report feeling relaxed, happy, and euphoric when ingesting GMO Cookies. This intense feeling of relaxation is due to the indica dominance of GMO Cookies and its high THC content. However, newbie cannabis consumers should use caution when ingesting GMO Cookies. Some consumers report that they may feel a bit too drowsy or experience dry mouth, dry eyes, and dizziness when ingesting GMO Cookies.

HashDash platform users report relief from stress and pain, and depression when consuming this strain. Those who suffer from conditions like anxiety, arthritis, and PTSD may find relief with GMO Cookies. This strain could act as a safer alternative to possibly dangerous and highly addictive opioids.

GMO Cookies plants have higher than average yields, with a typical flowering period of 55 to 70 days. GMO Cookies plants have an olive-green color with bright orange pistils and delightful hints of purple throughout.

This cultivar hits like Mike Tyson—thankfully, unlike Mike's punches, I could still feel everything. When I pulled out the preroll, I was hit with a strong, earthy, pungent diesel aroma. Despite GMO Cookies delivering a powerful smoke, the effects that followed were more like lying down in a boxing ring and indulging in meditation and introspection. This isn’t a strain for social settings; you’ll be lost in thought. While it packs a punch, it doesn’t make you feel sleepy, nor does it spark ambition. Instead, it strikes a nice balance with a relaxing body high.

I was unsure of GMO Cookies due to my lower match %, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Limonene stuck out to me for sure and resulted in the perfect, relaxing vibe I was looking for!
